Caterina Vasari

Caterina Vasari is the 24-year-old daughter of a celebrated cartographer in 1890s Trieste. After her father's death she inherits his life's work — atlases of cities that, when she returns to them, no longer exist. Her journey through the dissolving geography of late Habsburg Europe is one of grief, vocation, and quiet revolt against the politics of mapmaking.
